Francis rose to fame and eventually collaborated on “Que Que” with Latin-pop artist Maluca. Drawing inspiration from Dutch musician Munchi, Francis edited his 130 BPM house track “Masta Blasta” into a moombahton track.
In 2010, he released the Swashbuckler EP on Play Me Records and two singles in 2012: “I.D.G.A.F.O.S.” and “Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up)”. Francis worked with multiple labels including Dim Mak Records, Mad Decent, and Owsla.

In 2018, Dillon came back to the moombahton style with his Spanish-language album, WUT WUT. This earned him a nomination for the Latin American Music Award and Latin Grammy Award for the track “Sexo” in collaboration with Residente and iLe.
On February 21, he released the single “We The Funk” along with Fuego. Later on April 13, he released the single “Sexo”, which was a collaboration with Residente and iLe again. On May 9, Dillon Francis released the single “BaBaBa (Vete Pa’Ya)” in collaboration with Young Ash.
